History:
From 1998 to 2007, DTF trained over 80 members annually, auditioned and chose only 20 for the showcase. Restructured since 2007, we now train an exclusive amount of 35-40 members annually, while ALL are offered a showcase opportunity.
 
Who:
Founded in 1998 by professional actress, and head trainer Anik Matern

Anik’s assistant and fellow dynamic trainer Claire Jacques
Professional actress and Musician.
 
Board of Directors:
Comprised of generous parents, attorneys at law, business professionals, and artists

What:
A not-for-profit, registered charity organization, helping individuals of all ages realize their full potential, creating work opportunities and industry exposure for them while increasing their confidence and awareness of the performing arts and film & television opportunities in the Montreal community, and abroad.
 
Where:
Our training season will be held at "Le Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Montréal": 4750 avenue Henri-Julien, 1st floor, H2T 2C8. (10 minute walk from the Mont-Royal or Laurier Metro stations, see directions map under contact us)

When:
Tuesday evenings for On-Camera Gym (all ages) and Saturday Mornings and Afternoons for Young Performers & Young Adults..
 
Why:
Training with DTF allows members to pursue their education and interests while learning valuable acting, performance and life skills on a continual yet part-time basis. Most train over several years with DTF growing into confident, creatively minded individuals.
